Quick answer: Searching for photography classes near you in Kolkata? How to compare nearby options by travel time, timings, practical hours, gear and the kind of course you need.
Searching "photography classes near me" brings up many options. Location matters, since regular attendance is key, but it's only one factor. Here's how to choose well.
Why location matters
Photography is learned by doing. If classes are too far, you'll miss sessions and lose momentum. Choose a campus you can reach comfortably, or a hybrid format that cuts the number of trips.
RAP Education has three campuses:
- Phoolbagan (head campus): P-118 CIT Road, two minutes from Phoolbagan Metro. Easy from Central, North and South Kolkata, Salt Lake, New Town, Howrah (by metro) and South 24 Parganas (via Sealdah).
- Belgharia: near Belgharia station. Easy from Dum Dum, Baranagar, Kamarhati, Panihati, Barasat and the Bangaon line.
- Ichhapur: near Ichapur station. Easy from Barrackpore, Naihati, Kalyani, Ranaghat and Hooghly's riverside towns.
