About this workshop
The Outdoor Photography Session on Street, Documentary and Culture, organized by RAP Education Photography School, is a unique experiential learning opportunity designed for students who wish to explore the essence of real-life storytelling through photography.
Scheduled on 23rd May from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Flower Market, Mallick Ghat, this session will be mentored by Pinaki Das, guiding participants through an immersive outdoor learning experience in one of the city's most visually rich environments.
Street photography, documentary practice, and cultural observation demand more than technical knowledge—they require patience, observation, timing, and a human connection. Through this practical session, students will learn how to observe everyday life, discover meaningful moments, and create photographs that reflect the rhythm, emotion, and cultural identity of a place.
This session will help students improve their observational skills, strengthen their storytelling abilities, and develop confidence in approaching real-world photography situations. Working in a dynamic outdoor environment will also encourage students to think creatively and respond instinctively to unfolding moments.
